In 1964 the President's House Association was founded at Georgetown College as an independent dormitory. They have occupied their current residence since 1972. Before 1972, they occupied the house of former President Eddelman on East Main Street. Students belonging to the organization are given first preference to live here. Any remaining spaces may be made available to upper-classmen. The PHA house is a three-story building and holds 40 residents. The first floor has lobby space, a kitchen and a Resident Director apartment. The 2nd and 3rdfloors have community bathrooms, laundry facilities and ten 2-person bedrooms.
